Strandveld Adamastor 2018 Magnum (1.5 Liter)

Crafted from  Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon vines grown in the cool, windswept vineyards of Cape Agulhas, Strandveld Adamastor reflects the untamed spirit of the southernmost vineyards in Africa. Here, the relentless ocean breeze and iron-rich ferricrete soils impart a striking minerality and coastal freshness to this distinctive white blend.

The 2018 vintage began with a cold, wet winter that replenished the soils after several dry years. A cool growing season followed, with steady maritime winds tempering daytime temperatures and allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. The resulting fruit displayed remarkable intensity and natural acidity — hallmarks of the Elim terroir.

Tasting Note:
Typical Elim minerality with fynbos characters, citrus, and white stone fruit. Full and creamy on the palate with notes of toasted oak and a dry, lingering mineral finish.

Bottled in 1.5L magnums to celebrate the age-worthiness of this remarkable white blend — the final release of Strandveld Adamastor Magnums, with only 8 bottles available.
