Tim Atkin: “Conrad Vlok makes this Cape Classic bubbly with fruit from the southerly vineyards in Africa, grown on ferricrete soils. The base wine was fermented and aged in wood before the second stage of the traditional method, creating a wine that’s creamy, sappy and attractive, with notes of toast and wild strawberry and tangy, dry finish. 2025 – 28”

Tim Atkin: ”The Navigator is an intriguing red blend of mostly Syrah, 15% Grenache and 6 % each of Mourvèdre and Viognier. Reflecting its cool climate origin in Elim, its a bright, tangy acid-driven style with aromas of seaweed and white pepper, racy redcurrant, thyme and wild strawberry flavours and sinewy tannins. 2026-30″
